Glamglow Thirstymud Mask Review

Hey everyone, hope your week is going well and that the weekend is definitely in sight! It’s not too early right….. Anyway, today I’m writing about a product from a brand with an incredible cult following: Glamglow. I won’t lie, all of the hype has made me want to try it. So, when I saw that it was in a limited edition Birchbox, I jumped right on it.

I have to say that it is definitely worth it! And, I most certainly will be buying the full size (using Birchbox points of course!).

Okay, on to the specifics. This is a mask but one of the qualities is that you can leave it on indefinitely. The first time I used it, I did a standard 20 minutes, and then washed it off. The next time, I did overnight and rinsed it off in the morning. it’s crazy, but the way that worked best for me was 20 minutes. Leaving it on overnight made my skin feel tight and dry. I know that that’s weird – I was shocked but I swear that it’s true. Leaving it on for 20 minutes keeps my skin very moisturized, and it stays that way. So, I’ve been consistently using it in that way.

There is a little bit of scent in this but it doesn’t upset my skin at all. It’s pretty light so you don’t really notice it, but I did want to point out that it is not fragrance free.

Basically, this stuff really is awesome. I have another hydrating mask that I’m going to get next, one that is less expensive. But until this point in my life, I’ve never had a mask that was this hydrating. And, since you don’t need too much, it isn’t too much money per use. I believe that this is worth the price tag, which is a very big thing for me to say – I love me some drugstore products. I do recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good hydrating mask for dry, rough, dehydrated skin.

What have your favorite masks been lately? I’m curious to know.

I bought this myself. All opinions are my onw. I’m not getting paid for this post.
