Oof. It’s been a little while, huh? I wish I could come up with a good excuse. But no excuse is ever good. Please just accept my apology, and we will move on :P.
I’ve come back with an exciting post though: my November Birchbox!
Spoiler: this month isn’t exactly my favorite, but it is a really high value, which is nice. So without further ado; let’s get into this.
The first product that I received is this Ayres Body Polish. To be honest, I don’t really use body exfoliators; I don’t like how they feel on my skin and I really don’t see any skin benefits. However, I’m always willing to give a new product a try, and I definitely will with this one. The sample is a really nice size and in a really nice package. The value is $3.70, which isn’t too bad at all.
This one I’m excited about, it’s the Make Skin Illuminator. I don’t think I’ve ever received anything from Make before, and I have been wanting to try them. The card says that this can be used as a base or a highlighter, and I will likely use it in the highlighter manner. It’s no secret that I love highlighter, either, so I’m very excited to give this a try. It’s actually quite a large sample at 0.15 ounces, compared to the 0.20 ounce full size (according to Birchbox’s website), so it is valued quite high at $25.50.
Next up is a hair mask, which is definitely something I love. But I have so many right now! I know, I know, it could be worse, but I was hoping for a bit of a better variety compared with what I have. But how could Birchbox know that I am currently using two? They couldn’t. Anyway, this is valued at $4.44.
This is the Bbrowbar Brow Definer, and as far as I can tell, it’s a full size! I haven’t received a full size product in my Birchbox in a really, really long time. It’s pretty crazy that they sent a $25.00 product, but that’s what it appears to be. I’ve spoken about this before though, I have pretty full brows and I don’t really fill them in unless I really mess them up (it’s been known to happen in the waxing process!). This will be nice to have though should I ever need it.
Last but not least is a perfume sample which I honestly don’t care about. I feel bad, but I have just never had the desire to try out this perfume, and I can honestly say that I haven’t even smelled it yet. There is just nothing about it that sounds like something I would enjoy. I will probably try it eventually, but not any time soon. The value is okay at $2.66.
If all of my prices are correct, this is a very high value box at $61.30! That is incredibly impressive, but I’m just not wowed by the products; they just don’t match my lifestyle like they usually do. That being said, I’ll still try out the products and let you know my thoughts.
I hope you enjoyed this post, and that you aren’t too upset that I took a couple of months off.
I bought this myself. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.
