Hi everyone! Thankfully it is Friday again! Seriously, this project that I’ve been working on at work is driving me up a wall. I’m surprised I’m not insane by now. Anyway, today I’m talking about something that isn’t stressful: the new Garner shampoo. I have said this before in Garnier posts: I don’t know what it is something, but there is something about their bottles, their advertisements, and the general company that makes me want to try every, single thing that comes out. I don’t understand my intrigue with the company, since I don’t have that many favorites.
This new line from the company is promoting fuller hair, increasing its mass. That is definitely an appealing idea for me, as my hair is quite thin and fine. Anything that tries to make my hair look bigger and fuller than it really is, well that’s right up my alley.
Unfortunately, after using this shampoo for a few weeks, I didn’t notice any difference in the fullness of my hair. It still looks thin and fine and not very impressive.
However, I do want to emphasize the fact that this shampoo is not bad because of it. It is still a really nice shampoo. I find that it makes my hair really soft and lightweight (which is only unfortunate in the wind when it gets blown around my face). I like the smell of it, too. It is fruitier than some of the other Garnier shampoos and conditioners.
Overall, I would say that it is a pretty standard shampoo. There isn’t anything exceptional about it nor is there anything that stinks. I don’t know that I will purchase it again right away, but it is probably one that I’ll remember to come back to (I’m pretty fickle with shampoos in the first place). I would recommend giving it a try if you a want a moisturizing shampoo, but be warned that you likely won’t see any change in your hair’s thickness. It may be possible if you use the whole line (the bottle suggests doing that anyway), but you won’t get fuller hair from just the shampoo.
What are your favorite drugstore shampoos?
I bought this myself. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.
