I know I have been reviewing a bunch of body washes throughout the past few weeks, but I’ve been trying to use them all up. Moving is crazy and in the new place I don’t want a ton of little things. Anyway, today I’m reviewing the Gilchrist & Soames Spa Therapy Body Wash. I received two samples of this over the past year: one in a Birchbox and one in a random Birchbox order.
I actually really, really like this body wash. You don’t need too much of it to get a really nice lather, and it smells so good! It is a fresh scent but not as punchy as the Not Soap, Radio Bathing with Sharks body wash that I reviewed two weeks ago. By punchy I mean in-your-face. The freshness here is a lot more subtle with a little bit of sweetness underlying it.
I am impressed with how much I like this soap. The sample size is great, but it looks like the full size (click here to see) is in a really weird bottle that may not be as good for dispensing the product. It is also $15 which is over my budget for body wash. I would definitely enjoy getting this as a gift, but it isn’t something I would order for myself.
Overall, I do really like this body wash. It lathers well, smells good, but the bottle and price of the full size will keep me from purchasing it. Have any of you tried this wash? I’m curious to hear your thoughts.
I bought this myself. All opinions are my own. No affiliate links. I am not getting paid for this post.
