The Aloe Source Vitamin C Antioxidant Creme Review

I’ve been using this face lotion for absolutely ages, so I figured it was finally time to review it. It is The Aloe Source Vitamin C Antioxidant Creme.

I have been loving this lotion since I received it. I have to say that I am really bad at applying face lotion. I often find that I am unsuccessful at sticking to the schedule of applying every morning and evening. For a time, I hadn’t applied any for probably a month. I decided that that was stupid and have tried to stick to a regimen. This is a major player in that regimen. I use it morning or night and find that it works so well.

It all started with this sample that I received in my Birchbox. It came in a pot, which isn’t so great, but the full size comes with a pump which is wonderful. It allows me to dispense product without contaminating the rest of the jar!

As you can see in this picture (of the sample), the cream is relatively thick. It isn’t so thick that you cannot apply it under moisturizer, but I highly suggest letting it sit for a while before you do. It does leave a temporary “greasy” layer on the skin, but it dries down just fine.

I feel like this product does so much in terms of its moisturizing capabilities. I find that it rapidly heals any dryness in my skin but it doesn’t over-moisturize it whenever my skin is “normal.” I don’t know how it is so multi-use, but I really love it.

This lotion does have a scent. It smells a bit like oranges, but it is by no means overpowering.

Overall, I love this lotion (as evidenced by my purchasing of the full size). The full size that I have is almost gone, but I don’t think I am going to purchase it right away. I have a bunch of other moisturizers that I need to use before they go bad. But, as soon as I have used them up, this is next on my purchase list.

I may even say that this is a holy grail product! :O

What are your favorite lotions/day creams/night creams? Have you tried this one?

I bought this myself. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.
