Bath and Body Works Guava Colada Candle Review

Hi everyone, let’s talk about candles. I know that at one point Bath and Body Works candles were all the rage but that a lot of “gurus” have been moving on to other things. I, on the other hand, definitely still recognize their great price and wonderful scents. So, today’s post will be about a candle I purchased recently: Guava Colada.

The best thing about this candle is definitely the scent. It is described as, according to the package: “This intoxicating fragrance of sweet guava mixes with golden passion fruit and a rich Pacific island vanilla.” Basically- tropical fruity goodness. In the jar, it smelled so fantastic.

When it is burning, the scent is definitely noticeable, but it doesn’t fill the entire room in a way that is suffocating. You can definitely smell it, but this one-wick version is lighter than its three-wick counterpart would be. I actually really like that this isn’t too overpowering, it keeps the room from feeling too clogged up.

The candle itself burns beautifully, with an even wax melt for the most part. It got a little stuck to the side of the glass, but only where it started to curve. But as you can see in the photo above, the wick could use a little work. I will definitely have to trim this before I burn it again, which I should be doing anyway if I’m honest.

Overall, I have not lost my love of BBW candles, and this one is great! If you like fruity scents, this one will be right up your alley.

Leave any candle recommendations (BBW or not) below, because I want to get a bunch for the new place.

I bought this myself. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.
