Camille Beckman Glycerin Hand Therapy Review

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to be reviewing a hand cream that I’ve been using lately. As I said in my post on Monday, it has been brutally cold. Because of that, my hands have been quite dry. Therefore, I’ve been trying out a bunch of hand creams in an attempt to keep my hands from getting cracked. This scent is in Tuscan Honey, and this is a sample sized version that I received in a Birchbox.

I have a very love-hate relationship with this cream, I have to be honest. I absolutely love it on the back of my hands. It is very thick without feeling heavy. I don’t notice it at all on the backs of my hands. It does a fantastic job of healing dry hands, too. My hands start to feel smooth shortly after I apply it.

However, these reasons are exactly why I don’t like it on the palms of my hands. The fact that it is thick and doesn’t sink in all of the way is quite irritating to me. It even feels a bit sticky. On the bright side, it is easy enough to smooth it into the backs of my hands without any application to my palms.

I have to comment on the scent. It is so nice! It isn’t a distinctly honey scent. Instead, it is a bit floral, but not overwhelming. And, it doesn’t last, which is nice because it won’t conflict with any fragrance you choose to wear on your body.

Overall, I love and hate this cream for the same reason. It definitely is more effective on the back of my hands, but I don’t love it on my palms. I haven’t decided if I will purchase this cream in the future. It probably won’t be any time soon simply because I have so many samples already. Once I run out, I will consider it.

What are your favorite hand creams? Let me know below.

I bought this myself. All opinions are my own. I am not getting paid for this post.

  1. The scent sounds amazing but the sticky factor on the palms isn’t good especially when we’re all typing and using electronics so often:/ Lately I’m using colloidal oatmeal lotion(like Aveeno’s colloidal one but a knock off version) and a JR Watkins lemon oil. It smells amazing and fresh. It does take a while to absorb so it’s not practical to keep in my purse but I use it throughout the day in the house and just watch what I handle for 10 minutes. I wish I got that sample in my BB. I got another Gilchrist & Soams lotion this time. I like that company a lot but the spa lotion they sent doesn’t moisturize as well as others I’ve sampled through BB.

Agreed! I have two of the Gilchrist & Soams lotions. They are nice, but not strong enough for winter, although I do need to give them another go. Because of being at school, I do need a hand cream that sinks in quickly because I’m always touching my computer or a book or my tablet.
I did get a lotion sample this month. My box came yesterday. I’m actually working on the blog post about it right now. 🙂
