Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Strength Reconstructing Butter Review

So, it’s no secret that I LOVE hair masks. I love anything that promises to make my hair soft and healthy-looking. I am especially drawn to drugstore masks, because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to save a bunch of money. Anyway, today I’m reviewing the new Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Strength Reconstructing Butter.

To be honest, I have never had that much luck with Garnier Fructis products, but there is something that keeps me coming back. I wish I knew what is was, but I don’t have clue what draws me in. But, lo and behold, I caved and bought this. I have tried two different hair masks from L’Oreal, so I know that there is promise in drugstore masks. I could have repurchased the Damage Repair Balm, which I loved, but I thought I would try something new.

Okay, enough rambling. What did I think? Well, to be honest, I was disappointed yet again. It’s not that this is ineffective. I think it restores moisture to my hair quite nicely, but the main gripe I have is that it makes my hair feel dirty after using it. I’m not sure if it is because it doesn’t want to rinse out all the way or if it is a result of the way the product sinks in. Regardless, I just don’t like the effect it has.

So, overall, I wouldn’t recommend this. I’d say go for the L’Oreal Damage Erase Balm (it’s yellow). I just don’t think this is as good as it could be.

I bought this myself. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.

  1. I love the Wen hair mask. I leave it in overnight ten rinse it out in the morning.
