Products I’ve Used Up | March 2014

Hey guys! No favorites or haul for this month. I only bought a few things and I don’t have any favorites really. So, I figured I would at least share some of the products I’ve used up this past month.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment: I basically love this stuff and I’m sad to see that it is gone. I really enjoyed using it and would venture to say that I have never used a lip balm as good as this. If you are interested in the full review, click here.

Almay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover Pads: I’ve talked about these multiple times on my blog. I really enjoy these for removing my eye makeup remover. Recently however, I’ve been more into using miscellar water or makeup wipes. I probably won’t be repurchasing these any time soon, but not because I don’t like them. Just because I am loving something else right now. If you want the full review, click here.

Almay Intense I-Color Liquid Shadow + Color Primer: Another Almay product I used up is this. I freaking love this stuff. I use it under every eye look I do, because it really helps the shadow to adhere and secure to my eyelids. I won’t bore you with the details because I have a full review here.

Clinique High Impact Waterproof Mascara: This mascara sample I got a while ago from Sephora. I have to say that I started to enjoy it more the more I used it, but I don’t think it is something I would repurchase. I really enjoy the mascaras from Almay, and they are significantly cheaper than Clinique. I would definitely purchase them instead of this mascara. However, I did sort of like it. Now on to some hair, skincare, and body stuff!

Serge Normant Meta Luxe Hairspray: I really enjoyed this hairspray. It’s probably one of the best I have ever used. Once again, I have a full blog post on this so I’ll link it instead of boring you with the details. But the bottom line is: I love it. Click here to read the full blog post.

Bath and Body Works Amber Blush Shower Gel: This is the new formula of the Bath and Body Works Shower Gels. They released at the end of last year, and this is the first one I tried. To be honest, I didn’t notice any difference in formula, which is fine by me because I really enjoy the BBW shower gels. I’ve been using them for quite a while now, and they are definitely my preferred shower gel. I also LOVE the scent of this. Amber Blush is one of my favorites, and this was fairly strongly scented, so I’m not disappointed.

Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Shampoo: I used up the conditioner from this range last month, and I like it. I used to swear by this stuff, but I have since discovered other shampoos I love. I’m also not nearly as loyal to shampoo as I used to be. I really enjoy trying new stuff. However, I’m pretty sure I have a few more of these lying around in my stash. I probably won’t purchase it again, just because I enjoy hopping around from brand to brand. 🙂

Juice Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer: I used the majority of this product while I was living in London, and I really loved it. I didn’t really use it consistently when I returned, but I still like it. It probably isn’t something I would purchase again, just because it doesn’t do anything amazing for me now. But I really enjoyed the product while I used it. The only downside was the scent. It was not my favorite. But it wasn’t too potent so it’s okay. 🙂

I also have a few random products to share, but they relate to beauty (kind of) so I figured I would throw them in.

Gain Original Detergent: I really like Gain detergent. I have had reactions in the past to detergents…. like bad reactions (rashes and itchy skin). All and Gain are the only ones that don’t do anything to me. I prefer the Apple Mango Tango scent in the Gain detergent, but I had run out at the end of the last school year and the Target I went to didn’t have any of that scent so I settled for the original. I used it with no problems, so I don’t really have any complaints. I have repurchased in the Apple Mango Tango scent.

Dial Antibacterial Hand Soap with Moisturizer in Pomegranate & Tangerine:I should have put this in my haul from last month, but yeah. I used up this soap. I thought it was nice. It smells good, it’s cheap, and I would purchase it again.

So there you go. Those are all the products I’ve used up in the month of March. Let me know the products you’ve used up in the comments below!

I bought these products myself. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.

  1. It’s really impressive that you managed to use up that eye shadow! I almost never use anything up, though of course as I say that I recently used up two lip products, but generally I don’t. Loved this post, I really love seeing what people actually enjoy and use up.
