Agave Healing Oil Treatment Review

Hey everyone! I’m not sure if you remember this product from my February Birchbox, but it is the Agave Healing Oil Treatment. I ended up trying this out, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you!

I ended up emptying this container into a plastic tub that I bought a while ago from the Walmart travel section (they may still have them if you want to get some). I got three uses out of it, which isn’t bad. Each time I used the oil, I applied it the night before, after having washed my hair. The smell was absolutely wonderful. It was sweet, but not sickly, sugary sweet. It was just… perfect in terms of the sweetness. The smell gave me high hopes which were, unfortunately, not met. I didn’t find that my hair felt any softer in the morning. In fact, I think my hair was softer when I didn’t use it. I’m not sure why so many people rave about this stuff. Maybe I should have used it on my dry hair, but since I didn’t get a very big sample, I wasn’t able to do so.

If I were you, I’d skip this product. I didn’t find that it did anything for my hair, despite the amazing smell. Let me know what your favorite hair oils are below. I’m currently testing one from John Frieda, but I’m curious to know your favorites.

I bought this myself. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.

The photo was recycled from my Birchbox post because I’m dumb and didn’t take a new one before I used it all. 😀
