What’s up guys? Time to tell you about a product I’ve been using religiously. Seeing as it is skincare, that must mean it is good (because I’m so lazy with my skincare). It’s the Dr Jart+ Ceramidin Cream that I received in a Birchbox over the summer. At the time, I was really irritated with Birchbox. My skin is combination, meaning I get some dry spots and some oily spots, and I was worried that this would make me more oily because of the fact that it is for dry skin. The recent weather, however, has dried out my skin like none other, and I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to function without this (that’s an exaggeration. But I would be very very sad).
Like I said, this is an intense moisturizer. I’ve been using one from Juice Beauty and my Simple Replenishing Moisturizer, but it wasn’t working. After walking around campus, my skin got really scaley and dry. It was embarrassing more that anything. Not only did this cream (almost immediately) fix the flakey patches, it has been helping to prevent further dry spots from forming. My skin feels so much more hydrated than before I started using it.
The formula is wonderful. It doesn’t make me greasy (I think that is because my skin has been so dehydrated). It has a slight scent to it, but not enough to annoy me. It fades very quickly and is pretty much undetectable.
Like I said, my skin would be in a bad way without this moisturizer. I’ll take this time to recant my previous opinion of the product. In this situation, it is exactly what my skin is looking for. I wish the full size wasn’t so pricey. However, I don’t often have super dry skin, so as long as I can make this sample last the rest of this ridiculous winter, I should be good.
I paid for this product myself. I’m not getting paid for this post. All opinions are my own.
