Keratherapy Keratin Infused Deep Conditioning Masque Review

Hair stuff! I love trying out new products for my hair. I don’t know why, but there is something really fun about testing various shampoos, conditioners, dry shampoos, masks… Is this normal? Probably not. Anyway, this is a sample that I got in a Birchbox in September (maybe? I’m not quite sure). I finally got around to using it. I will say that this was significantly more than enough for one use. After I depotted it, I got four uses out of it. Don’t knock foils until you depot them. You could be surprised at the amount that is actually in there.

Anyway, let’s talk about this deep conditioner. I have to say that I feel pretty ambivalent about it. It works well, and it smells nice, but nothing about it really speaks to me. There was nothing fantastic about it. It moisturizes well, but not enough to make me want the full size version. If you want a deep conditioner that isn’t as strong as others on the market, this may be for you. On the moisturizing spectrum I would put this between a very moisturizing daily conditioner (think Tresseme Moisture Rich) and a drugstore mask (think L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm). Personally, I enjoy masks that are more moisturizing and leave my hair feeling very soft. This may be due to the fact that I have pretty dry and damaged hair. If you have “regular” hair (meaning not dry) that isn’t very damaged, you may find that this is a perfect mask for you. If you do have dryness, this may not be enough for you. It really depends on how much moisture you want your deep conditioner to give you.

Overall, it’s a very nice mask, but it just doesn’t fit what I am looking for. However, I can see some people absolutely loving it.

What are your favorite hair masks? Let me know! I love hair products. 😀

I bought this myself. I’m not getting paid for this post. All opinions are my own.
