January 2014 Favorites

Favorites time! I realize that I don’t do favorites that often, and I don’t know why. However, I’ve decided to change that. 🙂 Here are my January 2014 favorites!

Starting with a fragrance! I wore this almost the entire month. It is the Forever Red Fine Fragrance Mist from Bath and Body Works. I absolutely love how warm and sophisticated this scent is. I am really horrible at describing scents, but I find that this is sweet but not sugary. There is just enough spice to make it seem like an appropriate grown-up fragrance. It lasts pretty well throughout the day. It does wear off like most of the Fine Fragrance Mists do. Overall, I love this.

This was in my 2013 favorites. But, I just LOVE this body cream. It’s the Malibu Heat Triple Moisture Body Cream from Bath and Body Works. It smells like coconut, but there is a definite fruity undertone to it. I absolutely love it. I love using it in the wintertime because the scent reminds me of summer. It’s super moisturizing and the smell is divine. It’s true love <3! 😀

I have a full review on this: click here. This is the Klorane Leave-In Cream. I started using it after I returned from England, and I noticed that my hair was instantly softer. I use it pretty much every day now. I can’t imagine not having it. My hair is pretty dry at the ends, and it doesn’t really help with that. But, it does help to keep the rest of my hair soft and moisturized.

My favorite nail polish of the month is by Ruffian. It’s called Delirium. I have an NOTD coming soon, but this color is so vibrant that I just love it. It is dark enough to be season appropriate (although, I don’t really follow those “rules”). Stay tuned for a full post about it.

Okay now for some randoms.

Food: McVities Digestives! They are in America!!! They don’t have the dark chocolate variety yet (I haven’t seen them at least), so I “settle” for the milk chocolate. Seriously, you need to go buy yourself a pack and try them.
Drink: Caribou Coffee! I love the Caribou Blend from them. It is so delicious, and it is definitely my favorite coffee from the month. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
Songs: Demons by Imagine Dragons, Counting Stars by OneRepublic, Say Something by A Great Big World. I also like Royals by Lorde, but not when she sings it. I like it when I sing it. I know that sounds weird, but I really don’t care for her voice. Nothing against her; it’s just not my taste. I like the melody, though, and I sing it in the shower a lot. 😀

I think that about covers it. This month has been absolutely wonderful. Bloguary was huge success! I loved posting every single day for you all. It was so much fun! With the exception of next week, I will be resuming my three times a week posting. This schedule works best with school and work. Thank you all for your support this month. It means so much. And, I hope you enjoyed the giveaway. I would love to do more of these for you! It was a blast. 😀

I bought all of these products myself. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.

  1. I love the Ruffian nail polish too! I received the orange color in a Birchbox, and I loved it so much I ordered the purple! It might be making an appearance in my Manicure Monday in a few weeks!

I’ve seen the orange one around., and it looks gorgeous. I’ve been hoping to get in a Mystery Pick 2 so I don’t have to spend the money on it. I’m currently trying to hoard my Birchbox points (maybe for a Clairsonic).
