NOTD: Revlon Brilliant Strength in Enamor

Today’s post is a Nail of the Day. It is one of the most searched items on my blog, and people always get referred to the Nail Polish Haul which is where I show you that I purchased this polish, instead of an actual swatch. I decided it was time to give you guys what you want to see. 😉 Plus, I was in the mood to try out this pink nail polish.

It is a cool-toned, medium pink that took two coats. The first coat was a little bit streaky and even bluer-toned. However, the second coat evened everything out. The formula was pretty easy to work with. Dry time was pretty good, and the finish was relatively shiny. I don’t have a top coat on in the photo above. I do think the overall finish would have been better with a top coat; it would have allowed for a smoother and shinier finish on the nail. However, I think it still looks nice sans top coat.

As far as wear goes, it has been pretty good. After two or three days (I forget what day I painted my nails :P) of wear, there is one chip on my thumb and little bit of fading around the tips of my nails (but nothing unusual).

I personally prefer warmer pinks, but this color has grown on me. It was a nice formula to work with. I don’t have any complaints, and I recommend picking this up if you see it around (as long as blue-toned pinks are your thing). Have you ever tried the Brilliant Strength? What do you think?

Get excited, because I’m going to be posting a fashion haul this week (hopefully tomorrow… if I can get good lighting this afternoon)! 🙂

I bought this myself. No affiliate links. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.
