(MALIN+GOETZ) Cilantro Hair Conditioner Review

Please forgive me for my lack of posts the last two weeks. Life has been hectic. There was just a lot going on, and it was incredibly stressful.

But anyway, on to happy things. Here is a review of the (MALIN+GOETZ) Cilantro Hair Conditioner that I got in a past Birchbox.

This is one of the sample sized products I took with me while away (also see: Davines Love Shampoo). I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try out this product. I have to say that I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. For my hair, which is pretty dry, I didn’t think it was moisturizing enough. It wasn’t bad, but I like my conditioners to be a bit more heavy duty in the moisturization department. As far as the smell, it is quite herbal. However, the scent is not overpowering. You can smell the herbs if you get close enough to the conditioner, but I don’t really notice it otherwise. It doesn’t stay in your hair either, which is good, because herbal is not my thing.

Overall, it is good. Not amazing, but not terrible. On the Birchbox website, an 8oz bottle retails for $22.00. Like I’ve said before, I don’t often invest in hair care. I don’t see the point in spending a lot of money for something if you have a good or better drugstore alternative. I wouldn’t pay that much for it, but if you need a mildly hydrating, herbal-smelling conditioner, this isn’t a bad option. Actually, I can’t think of any drugstore conditioners that smell herbal… so this might be your only choice. 🙂

What do you think of this conditioner? If you haven’t, do you think this would be something you would enjoy?

I got this in a Birchbox, which I pay for myself. No affiliate links. All opinions are my own. I’m not getting paid for this post.
