So I’m going to recycle a picture for this post. I have used this half of this shampoo (that I received in my June Birchbox), and it would look bad if I photographed it now.
I remember thinking I was going to hate this shampoo, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’m staying with some friends for two weeks (still working though), so I just wanted to bring some samples instead of toting around the large bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Anyway, I thought that I might as well use it up. And, like I said, I was pleasantly surprised. The smell isn’t as disgusting when you are using it. I don’t even really notice it. All I notice is how nicely it lathers. You don’t need a lot of it in order to get a lot of suds. 🙂
The bottle says that it is for dry and frizzy hair. I have to say that my hair has been feeling pretty darn good. I would say that the claim that it is good for dry hair holds up. However, I haven’t noticed that my hair is any less frizzy. I mentioned in a previous post that I live in a very humid area of the northeast. Therefore, frizzy hair is almost constant. I really didn’t see any improvement.
Another plus for this product is that it doesn’t weigh my hair down. My hair doesn’t seem to have any less volume than it has had in the past. I don’t find it particular volumizing, either.
I do really like this product. The only reason I would hesitate to buy it would be because of the price. Birchbox has it for $24 and you get 8 ounces. That it seems a bit pricey for me. I will definitely consider getting it when I make a full-size purchase from Birchbox in the future.
What do you think? Do you love it?
