Birchbox Full Size Haul

Hey guys! I’ve been meaning to post a haul of all the stuff I got from Birchbox for a while. Finally, I got around to doing it. So… without further ado, here are the products I purchased.

This is definitely the best item I picked up. It’s the Stila In the Light eyeshadow palette. Ahhh, so glorious! I’ve never owned any high-end eyeshadows before, so I am pumped to give this a go. I got it because it will be easier to travel with. It is a palette of neutral colors in a wide variety of tones. It also comes with a dark brown eyeliner. I can’t wait to use this! It retails for $39.00! Don’t worry. I used points (I’ll explain at the end).

This next purchase was a bit of an impulse buy, but I don’t regret it. This is the Shea Terra Organics Whipped Shea Butter in Gingered Pumpkin. I decided to get this because I love body lotion products, first of all. πŸ˜› Secondly, I saw someone on a forum mention that they purchased it. Thirdly, it promises to help with stretch marks. Now, I’ve never had a kid but my thighs have stretch marks as a result of puberty. They are pretty faded, but you can still see them. I’m just hoping that this will help it even more. Fourthly, I figured that if it could help with all that other stuff, it would help the bumps I get on my arms. It feels like acne, but it isn’t red. My dermatologist told me the name of it, but I can’t remember. He just said that some people get it. So far, it seems to be working, but I’ll let you know after a longer amount of time. I love that this comes in a beautiful glass jar, too. It feels so fancy! πŸ˜‰ It retails for $18.00 and you get 9 ounces.

Next, I ordered the Chuao ChocoPod sample pack. It’s chocolate, need I explain more? I actually sampled the potato chip one in my Birchbox one time, and it was pretty good. I figured I’d give the rest a go. Out of the few I’ve tasted so far, Firecracker is definitely my favorite. πŸ™‚ Retail for all of these is $7.95. It seems that they are sold out right now, though. πŸ˜₯

Finally, I purchased the Pick Two Sample Pack. I already have the DDF Cleanser (and haven’t tried it…) so I gave the new one to my mom. The real reason I got the pack is because of the Stila Lip Glaze in the shade Camera. I’ve been dying to try these, and I’m so happy that I finally get the chance to. It feels a little thick, but you get used to it very quickly. I’m loving it so far. These packs are $10. You can get them for free if you spend more than $35 though! πŸ™‚

Overall, if I bought everything full price, it would have been $74.95. I got the sample pack for free and used a 20% off code AND 500 points (50 dollars) which brought my price down to: $1.96 (and free shipping :D). I call that a successful shopping venture.

What are your favorite full-size products from the Birchbox store?
