I realize that I have yet to do a haul on my blog. That’s about to change.
Julep just had their end of the year sale (actually at the end of the year), but my order arrived a few days ago.
The first thing I picked up was the Lovely Hostess Set, or something along those lines. These three colors came with three to and from tags, which was cool.
Emmanuelle is not associated with any particular style. It is a peachy pink color, and I can’t wait to wear it. Recently, I’ve been really into nude colors and this one is great. The next one, Petra is the Boho Glam style (my style) and is a beautiful, deep red with silver shimmer. I was surprised by this one as it wasn’t as pretty online. The third in this set is absolutely gorgeous. It is called Vivien and is part of the American Beauty set. It is a very light gold with multi-sized glitter in a clear base. Talk about beautiful. I don’t think I could imagine a prettier glitter. I cannot wait to try this. Be on the lookout for a blog post.
The next thing I purchased was a single nail polish.
This is America (actually called America the Beautiful online). It is not associated with any particular style. It looks like a red based nail polish, but it is actually clear based. There is really fine red shimmer, bigger silver and blue glitter, and silver star glitter in the base. It is a really beautiful color, and I’ve wanted it since I saw it in July’s box, which I didn’t qualify for since I signed up too late in June.
Next, is another set. However, the glitter that was supposed to be in it, Mila, was out of stock. They emailed me and told me that I could pick whatever polish I wanted to make up for them, which was incredibly sweet of them. They told me that I could also take a store credit. I decided to order a different polish.
The first in the Sugar Plum Fairy Set (I think that is what it is called) is Trina. This is polish that was part of the set, not the other that I chose. Trina is not associated with a style. It is a beautiful deep purple with what looks like magenta shimmer in it. I can’t wait to try this one. I’ve always wanted a deep purple. The second is Julep’s newest polish, Jane, a Bombshell polish. This is being marketed as a rose gold, but I think that it is more bronze. Oh well, it is absolutely beautiful. The glitter is medium-sized and is suspended in a clear base.
Overall, I spent $20.00, which cancels the fact that I skipped my January box. 😛 Oh well. I love nail polish.
If you are interested in learning more about the Julep program, feel free to ask (basically, you get 2-3 nail polishes every month for $19.99 with the ability to skip whenever you would like). If you want to sign up to get monthly boxes, click here and enter the code INTROTWO to get two additional polishes for free with your intro box.
The above code is a referral code. I earn Julep Jules when someone uses it to sign up.
