New Aquafina Premium Lip Care Hydrating Lip Balm Review

Before I left for a weekend trip over winter break, I picked up a new lip balm since I left all of mine at school (Why did I do that? I don’t know.). I decided to pick these up. They looked cool. Plus, they are new (according to the packaging).

In this pack, there are four flavors of lip balm: Wild Berry, Citrus Blend, Raspberry, and plain (there is literally no name). I originally thought that each flavor would smell like what it is. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. All of them have a minty smell except for Citrus Blend. The Wild Berry is the least minty of the three. The Citrus blend does smell like citrus, with the smallest minty background note. As far as taste, there really isn’t one. This product is similar to Soft Lips in that it seems to sink into your lips while moisturizing. So, they don’t really leave a residue to taste. When the product is applied, it feels sort of tingly whenever it is sinking in.

I only have one major problem with this, and I’m not sure how many other people will have something similar. I have sensitive lips. There are some products, mostly lip balms, that cause breakouts around my mouth. I can’t explain it. This is one of the products that do that, so I had to stop using them. That means, I can’t speak for how well they moisturize in relation to other balms since I didn’t have enough time to tell. In the amount of time that I did try them, they did make my lips smoother.

This is definitely a product to check out! It’s such a great deal, and they feel really nice on the lips.

What’s your favorite lip balm? I’d love to give it a try.
