Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads Review

I bought these eye makeup remover pads on a whim at some point last summer. I really have no idea why. But now, I love them.

This is going to sound weird, but my favorite way to use these is as a base. If you wipe your eyelids before applying eyeshadow, your shadow will last a really long time. It sounds strange, but try it out. Maybe I’m just strange…
These makeup pads remove makeup so well. I have purchased this size (the medium) and the small. I’ve noticed that the smaller packages have wetter pads, like they have more remover solution on them. That being said, both packages work.
I don’t wear waterproof mascara, so I can’t speak to how well that works.
These don’t sting my eyes, and (bonus) they are hypoallergenic. If you have a hard time with eye stuff because your eyes get irritated (like mine) then these pads will work with no problem.

Have you tried these? What do you think?

  1. These are sitting on my bathroom counter right now! And my little jar is almost empty. I bought these because they were cheap and oil-free. And they get the job done! I will also drape them over a wet Q-tip if I need a bit more precision with make up removal, like if I accidentally smudge my inner corners or something.

Hehehe. I just finished mine last night. I don’t have time to get to the store until this weekend, so I am eye makeup remover free for the next few days. 😛 That’s a great tip with the Q-tip! I like to fold them in half or quarters, but that sounds like it would be really precise.
